The Story So Far
Based in Mount Stewart, PEI, Canada, we're widely recognized as PEI's best live band due to our skilled musicianship, high energy and attention to every detail. Our sought-after musicians know how to work any crowd and create the atmosphere you desire, from intimate wedding receptions to leave-it-all-on-the-floor bashes.
We create amazing moments and memories with unrivalled chemistry, range and depth, with hits from genres spanning more than six decades. Elvis to AC/DC. Luke Combs to Katy Perry. Blink 182 to CCR. Our diversity makes us your best wedding band, special events band or corporate band , with clients ranging from all aspects of Island business. And we're willing to travel, delivering exciting, ovation-filled shows anywhere in the province.
Since our start in 2018, we’re live music experts, wedding enthusiasts, and party starters. We’re a premium, multi-instrumentalist band specializing in high-energy music for festivals, weddings, corporate events, and private functions–at a sensible price. Logan Cobb
Vocals
Logan is a live music expert and a professional party starter. From singing around a bonfire, to singing in front of hundreds of fired-up, screaming fans, Logan is at home in the spotlight and makes sure every event has the dancefloor bangin'.
Scott MacDonald
Bass
Hailing from the big city of Morell, Scott cut his musical teeth as founding member of popular 90s country band, Under Pressure, before realizing his true calling as a bass playing, groove laying, subsonic funkmaster in the Spuds!
Jason Laybolt
Drums
Jason was given his first drumkit at the age of four, and immediately gave up on ever becoming a musician, and instead became a drummer! Playing in a number of rock/grunge acts in the 90s, Jason brings that same energy and power to every show! From country, to pop and disco to rock and funk, he brings that necessary driving beat to every song!
Mike MacDonald
Guitar/Fiddle
Growing up playing a mean fiddle, Mike quickly went from jigs and reels, to stagedives and blistering guitar solos, You will find Mike out in the crowd, bringing the show to you, as he can't seem to ever stay put on the stage!
Byron Spelrum
Keys
The newest addition to The Spuds, Byron brings a new energy to the band. If you need someone to either bang out a piano groove, sing a perfect harmony, or call out a SOCIABLE, Byron is your guy!
